Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your DormHustle account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Delete from the App

1. Open the DormHustle app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down to Settings.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Option 2: Request via Email

Send an email to support@thedormhustle.com with the subject line "Delete My Account". Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile information (name, email, profile photo)
• Job postings you created
• Job applications and history
• Messages and conversations
• Ratings and reviews you submitted
• Notification preferences and settings

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion as required by law or legitimate business purposes:

• Financial transaction records — retained for up to 7 years as required by U.S. tax and financial regulations.
• Dispute and fraud records — retained for up to 3 years for legal compliance and platform safety.
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics — retained indefinitely in a form that cannot identify you.

Stripe / Payment Data

Payment information is processed and stored by Stripe. Deleting your DormHustle account will disconnect your Stripe account from our platform. To delete your Stripe data directly, please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
