Terms of Service

Welcome to DormHustle! By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DormHustle, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. User Accounts

• You must be a current college or university student with a valid .edu or university email address
• You must verify your university email before accessing job listings or posting jobs
• You must provide accurate registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• One account per person

3. Platform Usage

• Use the platform for legitimate job postings and applications only
• Do not post false, misleading, or illegal content
• Respect other users and follow the Community Guidelines
• All payments must be processed through the platform via Stripe
• Use in-app messaging to communicate with other users before and during jobs

4. Payments & Fees

• DormHustle charges a 5% platform fee on each completed job
• The platform fee is waived on your first job as a job poster
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Students receive payment after job completion verification
• Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect to your connected bank account

5. Ratings & No-Shows

• Both job posters and students may rate each other after job completion
• Ratings are displayed publicly on user profiles
• Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions or suspension
• Three or more no-show incidents will limit your ability to apply for jobs

6. Prohibited Activities

• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
• Fraudulent job postings or payment schemes
• Arranging payments outside of the platform
• Sharing another user's personal information without consent
• Manipulating ratings or reviews

7. Disputes

If a dispute arises between users, you may file a dispute through the platform. DormHustle will review disputes on a case-by-case basis. We are not responsible for:

• Quality of work performed
• Personal safety during in-person meetings
• Lost or stolen items

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including accounts with repeated no-shows or fraudulent activity.
